Milo, Mr April 2005
Although we are no longer publishing our annual calendar we thought it would be fun to display each month our past photo entry winners starting with our first calendar in 2004.
What Milo's humans had to say:
Milo is a rose breasted cockatoo. He came into my life in the most impromptu way. He was only 4 months old when I spotted him in a bird store and immediately fell in love with this pink ball of fluff! He did everything he could to get me to take him home, which worked like a charm because I did on that very same day. It will soon be two years since that memorable day and I have never regretted this impulse. Milo is loving, friendly, funny, smart, and full of energy; he makes me laugh every single day. He's full of spunk and loves to hop, do summersaults, and attack his image in the mirror. Milo will constantly ask “Whatcha doin?” to anyone who dares to leave the room without bringing him along. He is very sociable and loves to be around people and get all the attention. In a nutshell, Milo has the incredible ability to make every one like him, even people who don't have any affinity towards the avian species.
